Abstract
Gestalt laws of perceptual organization can be used to explain, cognitively or psychologically, some of the golden rules of note-taking by interpreters.Although interpreter's notes are considered as individualized rather than prescriptive, these cognitive or psychological analysis and explanations can contribute to the development of a well-established,fixed and operable note-taking system,as they can help the interpreters avoid arbitrariness when taking notes in interpreting.
