The Roles of Gestalt Perception in Meaning Organization and Interpretation

Abstract

Gestalt perception is a kind of holistic reflection of the different attributes and relations of the things in the world. Language,on one hand,is the result of gestalt perception of the world;On the other hand,it is also an object to perceive.The organizational role of gestalt perception is embodied in the process of human being's simplifying the current information;What manifests its role of interpretation is that people can make abstract linguistic symbols meaningful by right of one's experience.
