Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between the infections of chlamydia trachomatis(CT) and ureaplasmaurealyticum(UU) in the genital tract and the occurrence of threatened abortion in early threatened abortion(ETA). Methods A sample of 60 pregnant women that had early threatened abortion was identified as the test group. At the same time,a random sample of 60 normal early pregnant women was recognized as the control group.Culture mycoplasma of cervical discharge was conducted for the two study groups. Results In the patients group, the positive rate of CT,UU and both was 31.67%,21.67% and 8.33% in the abortion group, and 8.33%,6.67%and 1.67% in the control respectively. The difference of the positive rate between the two groups was significant(P0.05). Conclusion CT and UU infections in the genital duct may be one of the important causes of early threatened abortion.
