Abstract
Objective:To investigate the correlation of spontaneous abortion and infection of genital Chlamydia trachomatis(CT) and Ureaplasma Urealyticum(UU).Methods:CT and UU were checked in 56 spontaneous abortion patients(abortion group) and 50 induced abortion women(control group) by the method of cultivation and Colloidal gold. Results:The positive rate of CT and UU in abortion group were 37.5% and 46.4% respectively, raised more significantly than control group(P0.01).There were more cases(19.6%) with both CT and UU infection in abortion group than control group(P0.01).Conclusion:Infection of genital CT and UU may be one cause of spontaneous abortion.
