Abstract
The scavenging rates of the extraction from leaves and stems of Rhododendron dauricum L.to hydroxyl radical(·OH), oxygen radical(O2-), nitrite, and the blocking rate of synthesis to nitrosamines were studied. The extraction by95%(V / V) ethanol by ultrasonic method. UV spectroscopy was used for determining the amount of total flavonoids. The results showed that the extraction from leaves and stems of Rhododendron dauricum L. had scavenging and blocking action.All scavenging action to radicals and blocking action of synthesis were related with the concentrations of the extraction.Scavenging action was increased with the increase of the extraction concentrations. The scavenging action of the extraction to oxygen radical was stronger than the scavenging action extraction to hydroxyl radical and nitrite. The scavenging action of the extraction from leaves was a little stronger than that from stems.
