Abstract
Soil water is one of the most important ecological water resources and many hydrological elements, the relationship between soil water content and the eco agricultural construction in the loess region is very close. Soil and water conservation is that human integrally transforms the ground layer characteristics, and this transformation has impacted on the static distribution and dynamic progress of the soil water content. In the loess plateau region, the soil water content was improved due to the engineering measures of soil and water conservation on the hillslope. Many kinds of the artificial vegetation for pasture and forestry decreased the soil water content, and even resulted in the soil dry layer, to contrast with the artificial vegetation, the natural vegetation did not result in degradation of soil water content, even it increases soil moisture. It is worth to research a problem in the eco agricultural construction in the Loess Plateau.
