Abstract

Objective In Order to guide clinical rational administration, the result from monitoring serum concentration of children with epilepsies treated with sodium valproate was analyzed. Methods The drug serum concentration in 126 epileptic cases was determined fluorescence polariza- tion immunoassay (FPIA).The results had been analyzed. Results Effective rate of the drug serum concentration within 50~100μg/ml was 61.9%;Effective rate of the drug serum concentration less than 50μg/ml was 27.8%;Effective rate of the drug serum concentration more than 100μg/ml was 10.32%.Conclusion There exists big individual variance among drug serum concentration of epileptic people treated with sodium valproate,it is suggested that an individual administrated scheme should be applied in clinical practice。
