Abstract
It is the key field of studying on region sustainable development to judge whether the existence condition of the mankind stays within the global carrying capacity or not.The ecological footprint(EF) model is a new aggregative indicator which proposed to assess the utilization degree of the narure. This method can provide new idea to assess the regional development.According to ecology footprint theory and the calculation method, ecology footprint and carrying capacity of Shaanxi province from 1999 to 2006 were calculated and analyzed. The results indicated that Shaanxi's ecological footprint is on ecological deficit condition continuously, and the development mode is unsustainable.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
