Dynamic Change Analysis of Ecological Footprint in Shaanxi Province

Abstract

The ecological footprint of Shaanxi Province during the period from 1990 to 2008 is calculated in this paper based on the theory and calculation method of the ecological footprint,with the data of resources production and consumption,population,and land use from FAO database and Shaanxi Statistical Yearbook.Finally,the available ways for the sustainable development of Shaanxi Province in the future are put forward in this paper.
