Abstract

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of ultrasound for gastrointestinal perforation. Methods Ninetysix cases gastrointestinal perforation patients with complete data, preoperative underwent ultrasonography and X-ray examination. Results Seventy patients ultrasound showed intraperitoneal gas appears,84 cases ultrasound showed small to medium ascites volume. Among 96 cases, 84 cases X-ray showed free gas below the diaphragm, accounted 87.5%,90 cases ultrasound showed abdominal mass(gastric perforation 20 cases, duodenal perforation 62 cases, perforation of the appendix 8 cases). Conclusion Only fully understand the sonographic features of gastrointestinal perforation, combined with abdominal X-ray examination and clinical manifestations in order to provide effective diagnosis for gastrointestinal perforation disease.Ultrasonography for the lack of X-ray examination, improve diagnosis rate of gastrointestinal perforation for clinical treatment programs, particularly provide a reliable basis for guiding for the choice of surgical solutions.
