Research and Exploration of Cultivating Local College Students' Innovative and Practical Ability

In today's increasingly fierce international competition,strengthening students' innovative and practical ability in local colleges is very important to a nation,the local area,colleges as well as students.According to the basic characteristics of local colleges,this article analyzes the current situation and the causes of cultivating innovative and practical ability,and explores the ways and methods of that.Local colleges can complete the cultivation of students' innovative and practical ability by establishing scientific philosophy of innovative education,reforming curriculum system and teaching contents,improving classroom teaching methods,and focusing on practical teaching as well as developing entrepreneurship education,etc.
