The Present Situation of Innovation Education and the Strategies of Cultivating the Innovative Ability for Those Students from Local Colleges

Innovation sustains the progress of a nation, and is the inexhaustible impetus of a country's prosperity. University Students' innovative ability involves their own development as well as their country. Therefore, innovative ability is the important content for colleges to train talents in China. Most of college students in China finished their college education in their local colleges, and their innovative education directly influences the overall level of college students' innovative ability and the implementation of the strategy of an innovation-oriented country. The present situation of the cultivation of innovative ability for those college students from local colleges was analyzed in this paper, and the major factors of affecting their innovative ability and the solutions and strategies are also explored.
