Statistical Analysis and Manuscript Submission Strategy of Periodicals of Biotechnology Collected by SCI JCR Web

According to the journals resource from SCI Journal Citation Report JCR up-to-date network version of 2009,a sta-tistical analysis on 38 SCI journals about biotechnology was made.The results showed that these 38 SCI journals were pub-lished in 11 countries with English.And the main countries are United States and England.The average amount of published papers is 144,the average cited frequency is 3553,and the average numbers of the impact factor and immediacy factor are 2.600 and 0.51,respectively.The average cited half life is 5.6 years.Ten biotechnology journals are listed based on their im-pact factors.Manuscript submission strategy was analyzed from journals influence,MedSci index,submission difficulty rat-ing,the first trial period and articles published from Chinese researchers.Ten major biotechnology journals were analysized according to their impact factors from 2.5 to 10 to facilitate researchers for submission and retrieval.
