Clinical Analysis of Impact of Plasma Exchange on Chronic Severe Hepatitis B

Abstract

Objective To study the efficacy of plasma exchange(PE)in the treatment of chronic severe hepatitis B.Methods Thirty-one of those suffering from chronic severe hepatitis B received plasma exchange combined with comprehensive treatment. Results The serum bilirubin,ALT,PTA,NH3,Ca were decreased(P0.01,P0.05)compared with that before treatment. Total death rate was 45.16%.There appeared no severe adverse reactions.Conclusion PE is one kind of safe and effective artificial supporting regime.Combined with other basic therapy of PE is valuable to improving serious toxic hepatitis patient's liver function and enhancing the survival rate,which is the very subject deserving further study and efforts.
