In the early Anti-Japanese War Zhang Zhizhong commanded the 59th Army twice rushing to rescue Linyi battlefield,and crushed Japanese Itagaki division,created pre-conditions for the victory of Taierzuang Battle. His unusual way of commanding army strikingly demonstrates his unusual courage and resourcefulness and his brilliant commanding skills.
