Abstract
[Objective] The aim was to research the effect of pH value on biogas production by anaerobic fermentation of rice straw, and provide test parameter and theoretical basis for promoting straw fermentation to produce biogas.[Method] Effect of initial pH value on biogas production was evaluated from 3 aspects, biogas production, activity of biocatalyst and material consumption.[Result] The result showed that when the pH value was 7.0,the biogas production of rice straw was the highest, the decreased extent of TS and VS more significant, and coenzyme content was also the highest during the process of biogas production.[Conclusion] Controlling the pH value of fermentation system(7.0-7.2) and making the producing methane strain at the optimal living state, which were the key to enhance rice straw fermentation to produce biogas.
