Abstract
Di-n-octyl phthamate,a good plasticizer, has been synthesized by using n-octanol and phthalic anhydride as starting materials in the presence of heteropolyacid(HPA) catalyst. The optimizing test of the operation conditions was also established. The optimum reaction conditions, under which the yield of di-n-octyl phthalate is about 98.02%~98.80%,are as follows∶molar ratio∶phthalic anhydride∶alcohol=1.0∶2.3,weight of phospho-tungtic acid catalyst(HPW): 1.5 g/1 mol phthalic anhydride, reaction time: 1.5 h,toluene as water-taken agent.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
