Abstract

Objective The aim is to study to detect the carotid artery in the diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease significance by ultrasound.Methods 303 cases of elderly patients lying on the examination bed,scanning the carotid artery carotid artery,vertebral artery,in the horizontal and vertical.Results Detection of plaque 212 cases,accounting for 69%,stenosis in 97 cases,4 cases of carotid artery occlusion.Conclusion Through the carotid artery ultrasound examination can be qualitative and quantitative diagnosis,and guiding the clinical diagnosis and prevention and treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease.
