The Clinical Application of Tension-free Hernioplasty

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of tension-free hernioplasty. Methods 93 cases of inguinal hernia were treated with tension-free hernioplasty, the clinical data were analyzed retrospectively. Results Compared with traditional hernioplasty, tension-free hernioplasty offered the patients with simple operative procedure and slight pain and shorter hospital time, all the patients have no recurrence when followed up with 3 years. Conclusion Tension-free hernioplasty was a suitable method for all kinds of adult inguinal hernia, especially for the patients who were old or have giant hernia and recurrent hernia, and this operation should be extended.
