Ultrasound tests of the gastric emptying function in type-2 diabetic patients with gastroparesis

Abstract
Objective:To apply high frequency ultrasound in type 2 diabetic gastroparesis patients with gastric emptying rate detection,evaluation of gastric motility in diabetic patients,and to explore the relationship between gastric emptying and plasma glucose level.Methods:The patients with type 2 diabetes were used as a disease group( 110 cases),and the healthy 00 cases undergoing health examinations were used as control group.The rates of 30min,60min,90min in gastric emptying water were detected by the application of ultrasonography.Results:Gastric emptying in diabetic group was significantly lower than that in the control group in the all time.Conclusion:Two dimensional ultrasound can detect the type 2 diabetic patients with gastroparesis stomach emptying.Control of blood glucose can improve gastroparesis symptoms in diabetic patients.
