Abstract
Objective To study the curative effect of amlodipine besylate in the treatment of senile primary hypertension.Methods 72 cases of elderly patients with essential hypertension in our hospital from April 2012 to April 2013,which were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,36 cases in each group.Control group was treated with nifedipine;Treatment group was treated with amlodipine besylate.Results Total effective rate of treatment group was higher than control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);Treatment group had not obvious adverse reactions.Conclusion Amlodipine besylate has significant curative effect in the treatment of senile primary hypertension.
