Abstract

Objective: To observe clinical effect and safety on transurethral resection of prostate in treatment of high-risk benign prostatic hypertrophy. Methods: 96 cases of high-risk BPH patients were given TURP,the observation of international prostate symptom score(IPSS) and maximal flow rate(MFR) were compared before and after operation. Results: The TURP was safe for 90 cases of high-risk BPH patients, there was no hemorrhea, transurethral resection syndromes(TURS) and death during operation.Patients all passed perioperative period smoothly. Conclusion: The TURP is the golden standard in treatment of BPH,we should deal with perioperative period with carefulness, concrete and individuation during preoperation, intraoperation and postoperation to make surgery risk of high-risk BPH down to lower, and have a satisfactory effect.
