Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical significance of tissue-type plasminogen activator(t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1) contents and t-PA / PAI-1 ratio in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods: The plasma t-PA,PAI-1 levels were tested by ELISA in 53 cases of cerebral infarction patients and 30 healthy controls. Results: There were significant differences in levels of t-PA,PAI-1 and t-PA/PAI-1 ratio between patients with cerebral infarction and the healthy human(P0.01).Conclusion:Detection of t-PA,PAI-1 levels and t-PA / PAI-1 ratio in patients with cerebral infarction is of importance for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
