Clinical Curative Effect Observation of Montelukast on Treating 60 Cases with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract

Objective To explore the curative effect of montelukast on 60 patients with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods 60 patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.Patients of the two groups received conventional treatment for 14 days,while treatment group were added montelukast.Blood gas analysis and pulmonary function test were checked up before treatment and after 14 days.Results After the treatment,the pulmonary function of the treatment group was better than that of control group(P 0.05);PaO2 of control group increased after treatment,P 0.05,while PaCO2decreased,P0.05;PaO2 of treatment group was significantly higher than that before treatment,P0.01,PaCO2 decreased significantly,P0.01,the difference was statistically significant between these two groups,P0.O5.Conclusion Montelukast Can improve the pulmonary function and the blood gas analysis in patients with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
