Abstract
Objective To observe the dynamic changes of interleukin-1β,interleukin-6 and interleukin-10 in AMI patients before and after recanalization of infarct-related artery(IRA).Methods In 22 AMI patients and 8 healthy men, plasma IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-10 were measured by ELISA before emergency PCI,12 h and 24 h post-intervention.Amplitudes of changes in plasma IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-10 were compared. Results Plasma(IL-10) in AMI was not significantly higher than that in healthy controls(P0.05) before emergency PCI,but IL-1β and IL-6 were significantly higher[(27.98±8.76) ng/L vs(20.44±11.32) ng/L,P0.05;((31.89±)6.89) ng/L vs(15.55±3.81) ng/L,P0.05].Plasma IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-10 at 12 h and 24 h post-intervention were significantly higher than those before PCI(P0.01,P0.01,P0.05).In patients with successful PCI and having TIMI grade-3 flow in IRA,the amplitude of IL-10 increase was significantly less than that of IL-1β and IL-6(P0.01).Conclusions IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-10 may be involved in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury. The imbalance between inflammation-promoting and anti-inflammatory cytokines may be one of the mechanisms resulting in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
