Studies on efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride capsules in treating seasonal allergic rhinitis

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride capsules in treating seasonal allergic rhinitis.Methods:A randomized controlled double-blind double-dummy clinical trial,64 cases in test group,the dosages of fexofenadine hydrochloride capsules were 60 mg twice daily.68 cases in control group,the dosages of cetirizine hydrochloride capsules were 10 mg once daily.The duration of treatment was 14 d.Results:The effective rate of test group was 28.13%,that of control group was 22.06%.The two groups were not significantly different,P0.05.The incidence of adverse drug reaction in test group was 23.6%,that of control group was 19.7%.The two groups were not significantly different,P0.05.Conclusion:Fexofenadine hydrochloride capsules in treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis is a high efficacy and safety drug.
