This paper discusses the public environment sculpture, taking the city sculpture of Laozi statue as an example and suggests that we should not only understand the connotation of the sculpture works correctly but also try to seek the harmonious coordination between sculptures and the environment. It also puts forwards approaches to the development of the public environment sculpture.
