Urban competitiveness is the concrete embodiment of urban comprehensive strength,to the city and its area is of great significance.17 cities in Shandong province as the research object,the selection of Shandong into rapid urbanization period after 10 years of different time section,constructing urban comprehensive competitiveness evaluation index system by using principal component analysis method,separately calculated at different time section 17 prefectures and cities competitiveness comprehensive score,through the regional development,summarizes the vertical and horizontal comparison differences between the urban competitiveness of dynamic evolvement rules and influence factors for the city,the healthy development to provide the reference.
