Abstract

Oracle Spatial Offers two types of spatial indexing which is related to different usage,however few experts pay attention to the difference of these two kinds of spatial index,which always leads to poor efficiency in spatial analyzing and inquiring,therefore it is very necessary to put the emphasis on studying the comparison of these two types of indexing,including the efficiency difference of spatial analyzing and inquiring of the database with index and the one without index,which is proved by experiment in the end.
