Clinical observation of marzulene combined with omeprazole, amoxicillin and clarithromycin in the treatment of peptic ulcer

Objective: To observe the effects on marzulene combined with omeprazole,amoxicillin and clarithromycin in the treatment of peptic ulcer and eliminating the infection of Helicobacter pylori(Hp).Methods: One hundred and fifty-eight peptic ulcer patients(including gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer) were diagnosed by gastroscope,and their rapid urease tests were positive.All patients were randomly divided into treatment group(80 cases) and control group(78 cases).All patients took 20 mg omeprazole,1.0 g amoxicillinand and 0.5 g clarithromycin twice a day for 14 days by oral.The treatment groups were added 0.67 g of marzulene three times a day for 14 days.The ulcer healing and Hp clearance rates of all patients were observed by gastroscope and rapid urease test.Results: The ulcer healing and Hp clearance rates of the treatment and control group were 92.50% 87.50% vs 67.95% 60.26%,respectively,the differences on statistic were significantly(P 0.01).Conclusions: The effects and Hp clearance rates of marzulene combined with omeprazole,amoxicillin and clarithromycin in the treatment of peptic ulcer are befter and highe,this is a safe and effective therapy way.
