Curative effect of trimetazidine combined with diltiazem for angina

Objective To observe the curative effect of trimetazidine combined with diltiazem for angina.Methods 50 patients with angina were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The control group was given conventional antianginal treatment,ex rest,oxygen uptake,sedation,anticoagulant and antiplatelet aggregation.The treatment group was given oral trimetazidine and diltiazem tablets on the basis of the control group.The curative effect and ECG information of two groups were observed after 2 weeks.Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 88%,and the total effective rate of control group was 64%.The curative effect of treatment group was obviously higher than that of control group(P0.01).On the electrocardiographic changes,the total effective rate of treatment group was 72%,and the total effective rate of control group was 52%.There was significant difference between two groups(P0.01).After the treatment,the dosage of nitroglycerin in the treatment group was significantly less than that in the control group(P0.01).No allergic reactions(ex skin rash) and liver and kidney function damage in two groups happened.Conclusion On the basis of routine antianginal treatment,trimetazidine combined diltiazem tablets for angina can get satisfactory effect and is worthy of clinical application.
