Abstract
Objective: To explore application values of high frequency color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of knee joint disease of rheumatoid arthritis(RA). Methods: All 40 RA patients and 16 healthy people as the control ones were selected, bilateral knee joints of the patients were scanned and examined by high frequency color Doppler ultrasound, to observe blood flow conditions of arthroedema, synovium, cartilage surface, meniscus and lesion area of the joints. Results: Among RA group, 60% of 80 knee joints had joint effusion, 75% of the joints showed synovial hyperplasia, 62.5% of joint synovium low velocity blood flow signal, 22.5% of the joints cartilage wear, 18.8% of the joints cortical bone defect and 37.5% abnormal changes of joint meniscus. Conclusion: High frequency color Doppler ultrasound demonstrates higher diagnostic values and important clinical meaning for knee joint disease of RA.
