Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of high-frequency color doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of knee joint in rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Knee joints of 36 RA patients were examined with high-frequency color doppler ultrasound to observe the synovial membrane,Joint capsule effusion, cartilage and blood flow. Results Synovitis were detected in 68 knee joints in 36 RA patients(94.44%).As well as,joint capsule effusion(46/72),cartilage destruction(18/72)and blood flow signal(30/72)were found. Conclusion High-frequency color doppler ultrasound could be appliedis in the diagnosis of knee joint in rheumatoid arthritis.
