Abstract
Objective To explore the importance of CT diagnosis for renal carcinoma. Methods The CT appearances of 24 cases of re-rial carcinoma confirmed by operation and biopsy were studied retrospectively. Results In 24 patients the lesions of 8 cases were seen us hypo-density, 12 cases as isodensity and 4 cases as slight hyper-density in the CT plain scans. In these cases the most lesions showed marked enhancement in cortical phase. In parenchymal phase the tumor density dropped promptly, and in the renal pelvis phase the tumor density dropped further. Conclusion CT has high value in the diagnosis of renal carcinoma.
