Effect of Treating Urinary Function Recovery of Spinal Cord Injury Patients with Clear Intermittent Catheterization

Abstract

Objective To study the effect of treating urinary function recovery of spinal cord injury patients with clear intermittent catheterization.Methods Choosed 68 patients suffered spinal cord injury from Apr.2010 to Agu.2011 to divide into study group and controlled group with different ways of catheterization.Controlled group were treated with indwelling tube for catheterization,and controlled group were treated with clear intermittent catheterization combined bladder function training. Compared the urinary function and infected rate.Results The urinary function in study group was better than controlled group(P 0.05).And the rate of urinary infected in study group was lower than controlled group(P 0.05).Conclusion Treating spinal cord injury patients with clear intermittent catheterization can increase urinary function and improve patients' life quality.
