Abstract
Objective:To detect the effect of companyed intermittent catheterization with upright training to bladder function and urinary tract infection of patients with spinal cord injury. Methods:107 patients who suffered from spinal cord injury were randomly divided into two groups by envelopment.59 patinets in treatment group and 48 patinets in control group. Compared with the normal intermittent catheterization in control group, additional upright training was involved in treatment group. Results:There were significant differences between two groups in not only the ratio of urinary tract infection,reflexed bladder establishment, but also the average time of catheterization(P0.05). Treatment group was better than that of control group.Conclusion:Companyed intermittent catheterization with upright training could significantly improve the bladder function of patients with spinal cord injury.
