Abstract
Asset-backed security has flexible risk management mechanism and lower financing cost, but supply chain finance has a unique asset risk control mechanism. Considering that the underlying assets of SMEs can scarcely reach the standard of securitization, this study proposes an innovative model for SMEs' asset-backed securitization where the asset pool can be built with underlying assets under effective supervision, inspired by the risk control principles of supply chain finance under the supply chain circumstance.
