Abstract
Water resources pressure can be used to evaluate the relative lacking of country or region, meanwhile, it can be used to judge whether water resource have became an obstacle to the development of economy and society. According to the water resources demand, the water resources pressure includes water resources quantity pressure, water resources economic pressure and water environmental pressure, and these are influenced by population density, scale and potential of economy development and the request of environment to water resources, respectively. The integrate pressure of water resources is a combination of these pressures above according to their proper weights. Based on different water resources pressures calculating, this paper has analyzed the integrate water resources pressure for each province in China, and some significant conclusions have been drawn.
