Abstract
Objective To investigate the indication, the internal technique and the advantage of Micro Endo Disc system (MED) for the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Methods The MED was used to remove the nucleus, amplify the nerve root canal,and resolve the adhesion of the nerve root. Results Thirty six of Forty five cases were followed for 15days~4months. According to Nakai, excellent were 29, good were 7. No complication was found except only two cases with brain spinal fluid seepage in operation. Conclusions The MED possessed advantages of lesstrauma, early recovrey and excellent effective. The MED was used to treat the most type of lumbar disc herniation and narrowed nerve root canal.
