Abstract
In order to restrain the harmonic pollution,a hybrid-shunt active power filter was adopted. The simulation model of each constituent part of the hybrid-shunt active power filter is established on the MATLAB/Simulink platform. The dynamic simulation of the active power filter was performed. The results of data analysis based on frequency spectrogram illustrate that the harmonic wave has been compensated effectivelyby the method. The satisfactory simulation result was obtained.A design reference was provided for the practical application of the hybrid-shunt active power filter.
