Abstract
Simulation model was established for the shunt hybrid active power filter using MATLAB simulation tools and simulation analysis of simulation parameters on each component of the system was conducted. The results show that the hybrid active power filter can effectively eliminate harmonic and compensate reactive power, and it is feasible and effective.
