Abstract
[Objective]To study effects of fasudil on S-100B protein and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in acute cerebral infarction patients.[Methods]A randomized double-blind study was designed to value effects of fasudil on acute cerebral infarction, with routine therapy as placebo-control group. One hundred and six patients were chosen from Jun 2009 to Dec 2010,which were divided into two groups:fasudil group(56 cases)and control group(50 cases).Serum levels of S100B protein, serum levels of hs-CRP,improvement of neurological function were observed.[Results]There were better clinical outcomes in the two groups,P﹤0.01.There was a significant difference between two groups. In fasudil group, serum levels of S100B protein, serum levels of hs-CRP,improvement of neurological function were markedly different compared with those in placebo-control group(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]Fasudil can significantly decrease the level of S100B protein and hs-CRP,and improve the neurological function of cerebral infarction patients.
