Abstract

The resistances of 27 high-quality wheat cultivars (lines) popularized in Henan Province, to wheat powdery mildew, leaf rust, sharp eyespot and leaf blight were identified and evaluated under natural condition. Of 27 materials tested, 11 cultivars (lines)showed resistance to 3 of the above diseases, accounting for 40.74% ; 11 cultivars (lines) resisted 2 diseases, accounting for 40.74% ;3 only resisted one kind of disease, accounting for 11.11% ; 2 cultivars (lines) was susceptive to all diseases, accounting for 7.41% . In addition, there were more materials resisting wheat powder mildew and wheat leaf rust. But less materials resisting wheat sharp eye-spot , wheat leaf blight and leaf spot.
