Abstract

[Objective] To identify and evaluate the resistance of mainly popularized wheat cultivars and regional lines to wheat diseases, and find some multi-resistant cultivars (lines) which could be used in wheat production in Henan Province in the future.[Method] A total of 120 wheat cultivars were planted under natural condition without artificial inoculation.During morbidity peak period, the resistance investigations of all the wheat cultivars to the three wheat diseases including wheat sharp eyespot, powdery mildew and leaf rust according to record standards.[Result] The results showed that no cultivar (line) showed high or immunity resistance to the three diseases, and no cultivar (line) showed immunity resistance to two diseases. As many as six cultivars (lines) showed two high and one middle resistance, which accounted for 5% of all tested materials. As many as six cultivars (lines) showed middle resistance to the three diseases, which also accounted for 5%.[Conclusion] All the tested materials showed better resistance to wheat powdery mildew and leaf rust, but poor resistance to wheat sharp eyespot.
