Abstract
Objective To compare the effects of two hand disinfectants, the quick hand disinfection solution and the hand sanitizer. Methods 120 medical personnel were selected randomly and divided into two groups, quick hand disinfection solution group and hand sanitizer group, each group have 60 cases. The total numbers of bacteria were observed in the two groups before and after washing hands. Results To hands carried 50cfu/cm2, the numbers of bacterial communities reduced after washing comparing those before washing, there were differences after and before washing in the quick hand disinfection solution group and the hand sanitizer group(t=33.77,P0.01; t=30.94,P0.01);The numbers of bacterial communities had no differences in the two groups after washing(t=0.39,P0.05)); The qualified rates of two groups had not statistically significant( χ2=0.90,P0.05)).To hands carried ≥ 50cfu/cm2, the numbers of bacterial communities reduced after washing comparing those before washing, there were differences after and before washing between the two groups(t=51.61,P0.01; t=54.86,P0.01); The numbers of bacterial communities had differences in the two groups after washing(t=10.73,P0.01); The qualified rates of two groups had statistically significant( χ2=9.08,P0.01). Conclusion The effects of two hand disinfectants have good efficacy of disinfection. The hand sanitizer should be used when hand contamination was apparent(infected ≥ 50cfu/cm2).
