Abstract
The objective of this study was to explore the value of computer-aided stereotactic mammography core needle biopsy in the diagnosis of untouchable early breast cancer. Forty-eight patients in whom no certain tumor could be touched while doubtful pathological changes were found in mammographs were examined with computer-aided stereotactic core needle biopsy. The finding revealed 7 cases of early breast cancer accounting for 14.6%. Preliminary research results suggest that the technique of computer-aided stereotactic mammography core needle biopsy has the advantages of precise orientation, high reliability, small damage and simple operation, with important value in the diagnosis of early breast cancer.
