Abstract
Objective To evaluate the value of stereotactic core needle biopsy and needle localization biopsy in diagnosis and treatment for the early breast carcinoma.Materials and Methods Clinic and imaging data of 36 cases with early breast carcinorma only found by digital X ray were retrospectively analyzed, stereotactic mammography needle localization biopsy (SNLB) or stereotactic core needle biopsy (SCNB) were used. Results Successful SNLB was obtained in 29 of the 30 cases (96.7%),6 cases received SCNB and only 1 case was misdiagnosed. Conclusion Stereotactic mammography needle localization and stereotactic core needle biopsy play important roles in the diagnosis and treatment for early breast cancer.
