Abstract
Benzyl cinnamate was directly synthesized from cinnamic acid and benzyl alcohol using stannic chloride as catalyst under microwave irradiation. The paper presents the optimal reaction conditions, these are microwave power 288W,irradiation time 3 min,the molar ratio of alcohol to acid 8∶1,stannic chloride 0.7g as catalyst, and the transferring rate more than 94%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
