Abstract
Objective To learn prevalence status and influencing factors of Beijing Xicheng district middle school students' dietary behavior,in order to take effective prevention and intervention. Methods Using stratified cluster random sampling,2 007 middle school students in Beijing Xicheng district were tested by health-related behavior of young people in Beijing questionnaire. Results Unhealthy dietary behavior report rates of drinking daily,eating dessert daily,eating fried food daily,often eating fast food,often eating food on street,monophagia were 17.94%,30.77%,7.08%,7.73%,9.42%,41.49%. Healthy dietary behavior report rates of eating fruit daily,eating vegetable daily,often having breakfast,drinking milk regularly were 69.90%,85.30%,88.18%,69.48%. Gender,study phase,academic record,mothers' education level and family type were influencing factors of dietary behavior. Conclusion Health education about nutrition knowledge should be strengthened based on students' characteristics,healthy lifestyle should be fostered to reduce risk factors of adult disease.
