Abstract
The flood simulation in flood detention basin is the basis of non engineering measure such as risk analysis and resident hazard prevention. In this paper, the flood simulation method in flood detention is reviewed from the following aspects: the necessity of flood simulation, hydrologic model, hydraulic model, numerical method of two dimensional flood routing model and the solution of some problem.
